Wasabi Teams Up with Cloud Constellation Corporation to Bring the “Cloud Above the Clouds” with SpaceBelt™

All of us at Wasabi are pleased to announce our collaboration with Cloud Constellation Corporation to deliver a new generation of space-based data storage and security services with their new project, SpaceBelt™. Projected to launch in 2020, we are on a joint mission to bring the “cloud above the clouds” to enterprises in all industries to bypass the cyber vulnerability of global terrestrial networks with a space-based global area network and data storage.

With an expectation to bring 12 satellites to low earth orbit (LEO), Wasabi’s economical cloud storage and SpaceBelt’s patented, scalable service, will provide the highest level of cybersecurity risk mitigation at an affordable price. The Spacebelt network will communicate with secure access points located at Wasabi data centers, and will be networked with a laser photonic ring that is redundant and self-healing for high availability.

This futuristic offering will result in an unprecedented level of data security risk mitigation, and will provide security services that CIOs and CISOs will want to incorporate into their cybersecurity strategies.
